SUMMER ACTIVITY "MULTI PASS" 2010

For the 2nd summer Morzine is offering visitors the fabulous opportunity to enjoy unlimited activities for the whole family, throughout the 12 villages in the Portes du Soleil for only 1 euro per day! Included are: - 5 swimming-pools and 2 lakes - 21 moutain-lifts for hikers - 5 cultural sites - 10 tennis courts - 2 ice-rinks - 3 tourist road-trains - 850 km of foot paths The Multi-pass is only available to guests staying with participating accommodation providers. So if you book Chalet La Ruche for a self catering holiday this summer then your group/family will be able to make the most of this fabulous scheme!

TOUR DE FRANCE 2010 COMES TO MORZINE

It was announced in October that once again Morzine will form part of the Tour de France route. The tour will arrive on the 11th July; riders will spend their 1st rest day in resort on the 12th and then depart on the 13th in the direction of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. Both our catered and self catered chalets are currently available but hurry because availability is drying up fast! WORKING FOR ALPINE NAVIGATIONS WINTER 10/11

We are looking to recruit a team of 6 staff for next winter 2010/2011. Each of our catered chalets is run by a team of 3 hosts; a couple who are responsible for the cooking and an individual driver/ski guide/chalet assistant that assists the couple with their chalet work when not skiing/driving. The chalet couples take full responsibility for the food and house-keeping and are supported by the assistant. We ask that one of the couple has proven professional cooking experience and/or has attended a recognised cookery school. The driver/ski guides need to be competent skiers, capable of taking groups out on "accompanied skiing" days. All candidates must be over 25 years of age, hold EU passports and clean driving licences.
